We're Brett and Jerry — married in 2009, raising two kids in Fort Lauderdale, and somehow still figuring out what's for dinner every night.
We both run UNCS, a wholesale distribution company Brett founded over 25 years ago. Brett is the CEO and Jerry is the President — between the two of us, we cover everything from sales strategy and vendor relationships to operations, logistics, and the occasional warehouse crisis. Between boardrooms and bedtimes, there's not a lot of downtime.
Parker is our freshman — 14 going on 30, competitive about everything, and the one most likely to beat you at whatever you're playing. Mackenzie is 13, a theater kid and soccer player who has never met an animal she didn't want to bring home. She was destined for veterinary school before she could spell it.
We've been lucky enough to travel as a family — from London and Paris to ski trips in Vail and Park City — and we've learned that the best photos are rarely the posed ones. This site is where all of those moments land.
Four people, four very different personalities, one household.
Founder and CEO of UNCS. Started with a warehouse and a phone; now runs a national distribution company. Believes the best deals are the ones where everyone wins. Coaches through problems, not around them. Will outwork anyone in the room and then ask what's for dinner.
President of UNCS, family architect, and the one who remembers where everything is. Runs company operations by day and the household by night — school logistics, vet appointments, travel planning, and the occasional crisis intervention between siblings. Also: built this website.
Fourteen years old, freshman, and already the tallest one in the family photo. Lives for game day, whether it's on a field or a screen. Quietly intense, unexpectedly funny, and the only person in the house who consistently beats Jerry at chess. Born June 23, 2011.
Thirteen, freshly bat mitzvahed, and the most social person in any zip code she enters. Theater productions, soccer games, Girl Scouts, and an unshakeable belief that every animal deserves a home — preferably hers. Has the emotional intelligence of someone twice her age.
No family is complete without the four-legged members and, in our case, the ones who came before them.
We travel when we can, ski when it snows, and take too many photos of food.
